CIPP’s overall mission is to advance the rigor of evaluation activities conducted by or for the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) so the results may ultimately be used to improve supports for students with disabilities and their families.

CIPP provides support to OSEP in conducting mid-term reviews of its largest investments to evaluate progress toward achieving their objectives and recommend possible improvements to services provided.
Conduct OSEP’s GPRA data collection and reporting
CIPP conducts OSEP’s Government Performance and Results Modernization Act (GPRA) data collection and reporting to inform OSEP’s strategic planning, program management and accountability.
